Greetings!

When I get up in the morning, I give thanks to God for the privilege of being a pastor ~ a profession I entered nearly twenty-five years ago. I love the church and the work that it is about! The church is the coming together of people who want to experience God's love and share God's love. We come together, not out of perfection, but to grow in faith and service.

During this season of Lent, we are invited to make spaces in our lives to grow in faith and service ~ perhaps by adding some quiet time to our schedule or some Bible study. In this way, we become more attentive to Christ who walks with us to the cross of resurrection. This is our hope!

I am grateful for the opportunity to share with you the journey of faith!

Jacqie has been a church secretary at St. Mary's Lutheran church for many years. She uses computer word processing to produce our bulletins and newsletter.

Jacqie does a good job as our secretary and we can get announcements and articles to her to include in the monthly newsletter.

Judy is a graduate of Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary with a degree in music ministry and a disciple of Christ. She is a full time KUSD elementary music teacher.

In addition to playing for worship services and conducting rehearsals Judy leads the women's choir, Sweet Inspiration, and encourages the youth to share their talents.

"One of the Family" Praise Team is a complete traveling contemporary service which provides uplifting music. They lead the worship service on the second Sunday of each month at Immanuel. It is a rewarding spiritual experience for everyone in the congregation.
